1969 Cougar Coupe. DGC5698 VIN 9F91H565698. You do not see many Cougars and this one is fun. I was out driving it and when I came back steam was coming out under the hood. ( Heater core ) I took it to Joe at Old School Garage to install the new heater core and improve the brakes. For such a great car I was not happy with the brakes and Joe came up with adding bigger discs on the front. Now it stops really well. Now it has the brakes to go with that big healthy 390 V-8 engine. It's orange with a flat black hood with scoop. Black rims and raised white letter tires that just give it that go fast look. Then you open the hood and there sits a big fresh built 390 V-8 engine just throbbing to go. Boy does it sound good. And that's linked to an automatic transmission. To make sure it stays cool it has a big aluminum radiator. The speedo shows 88,000 miles. The speedo works but the odometer does not. Power steering. Manual 4 wheel disc brakes. Lots of money spent. The chrome was not great on both front and rear bumpers so we took them off and had them re-chromed. This is not your average Cougar.
